The book is full of heroes - Umunna herself, her physician father constantly risking his life to save others, born-again Christian former warlords, victims of horrific violence forgiving the perpetrators and former child soldiers publicly confessing their actions during the war and seeking forgiveness.
I highly recommend this book to anyone.. The story gets brutal in many places and Edward often punishes Lucy in front of his servants and even asks them to assist. Rice's entertaining writing style and his charming water colors of the layout designs make for an entertaining book. Another excellent book by John David Ebert. Digital imaging, photogravure and various approaches for colour printing follow. But there are only 15-20 facts per page, and if one of them on each page is incorrect, that makes for a pretty useless book.
