Daniel Hays (ThM, Dallas Theological Seminary; PhD, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) is dean of the Pruet School of Christian Studies and professor of Old Testament at Ouachita Baptist University. Its quite disappointing, especially coming from some one who studied with TT Liang. How can that be when I only just a month ago received his book in the mail? Because he is everything I have always wanted to be. The conflict between Dara and her family was somewhat predictable, but it was well written and left the reader empathizing with Dara. The graphics are cute and complement the messages in the book.. Christie’s safe house gives them the ability to finish their young years studying so they can find a decent job to support themselves and break the cycle of poverty.
Among the topics she discusses includes her haphazard and reluctant way of “discovering” India; her shock on various issues such as trafficking and acid attacks; and her need to do what she could do to end the suffering.
