Editorial : About the Author Anna Molnr Heged?s was born in the Austro-Hungarian Empire on August 2, 1897. She married in Szatmr (Satu-Mare), then in Romania on June 14, 1921, and had two children. Anna Heged?s immigrated to Israel in 1949 and to Canada in 1952. She died in 1979.
BUT this leads to very busy plates with with a large number of illustrated birds per plate, I guess this could be the only criticism I could think of for this guide, but considering the scope of whats included, I feel it's unavoidable. Should you want to follow along, you've to either scan the designs in the book or come up with your own design. And, three, this book is smaller than the other two (Pizzey's and Morcombe's), making it more manageable in the field.
Starting with the book's first edition, the plates are great and have only improved over the past 20 years to this 7th edition.
