It's a nice addition to a reference library.. This book is a beautiful catalog of Modern British ceramics in the Victoria and Albert Museum collection. Now that I can not have it, I want it! Oh well. It contains beautiful color and b&w pictures of Britain's best potters. I suggest, for those that want to save money, look to buy a used copy. Shows at least 1,000 examples of shapes and textures that can give anyone ideas to throw at. Let me know when this book becomes available.Pig in the Poke Pottery. This is not a how to book, but a great reference catalog. A good survey.. It traces the philosophical and physical trends of British pottery this past century
