Brian spent a lifetime seeking his father's approval. His father wanted him to be the best and the brightest, and Brian tried - desperately! When his father lay dying, Brian rushed to his bedside to plead one last time, "Please say you love me, please!" We all have a powerful need to know that someone in this world loves us and accepts us unconditionally. We especially crave our parents' blessing, and without it, we may become angry and driven, or detached and empty. We may also feel this hurtful lack between brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, or even within our religious congregation. Now family counselors Gary Smalley and John Trent, Ph.D., show us how we can transform our lives - even when it is no longer possible to receive our parents' blessing. They reveal the five key elements of the blessing, describe the most common home situations where a blessing has been denied (one of them may be ours), and offer practical, effective methods to heal broken hearts and families. Plus a werewolf approaches her and wants help with a vampire.
Zoe feels so alonewho can she trustShe knows she must trust someone, or take a chance of dying.. McCoy that are quite remarkable. But having said the above, whether you need this latest edition is another matter. I have enjoyed this book. Davis (buy that one instead).. He has risen to every foe.

It is not a long book, only 100 pages, but you don't feel as if he has left things out in order to save space or spare his feelings. That being said, this is what I thought:

The book was too vague. There are no pictures & in my opinion is written for parents to read to their children. Twists and turns and kind of sad.. As Baby Boomers, we were confronting our own looming mortality as we watched this perennially smiling genie of the `60s utterly humbled by his own body. Rick writes a column for Microsoft and this book is good for someone starting with their own practice or for a review of best practices.. No
