Bravo! I got the ebook for free in exchange for your honest review.. Anything more, you should look elsewhere, such as Adrian Forsyth's Tropical Forest.. Unfortunately those licks are not written out in the book.
Some of the turnaround and octave rundown licks toward the end were more interesting to me. The captions are simplistic and sometimes incorrect, such as the purported photo of a DC-4 over Miami in 1946 which actually shows a DC-6 flying over water some ten years later or so. There's a few pages per trip and can cover up to five. Reasonable price, too. You can sit together, look at details and have a talk. "Red-Tails In Love" is a very readable story of birds who thrive in an urban environment and the humans who are fascinated by them. My curiousity was piqued since I knew so little about the topic, decided I wanted to learn more and chose bourbon as the starting point.
