As a long-time reader of books about dance history and dance memoirs, this one takes the cake, and NOT in a good way. From what I could see this is a good book for children. She had begun to learn to do what was right.
As a loyal subject with excellent people skills, thanks to her trader background, she has managed to drive some very hard bargains throughout the series, each time to benefit King Hal and Morenia as they pass through various crises. But she broadens the circle further to include the warlords, the intelligence gatherers and the girls who were forced to be soldiers and concubines.
The book would be compelling enough if it stopped there. A non-preachy story of Revelations. presented with clear visual aids, charts, graphs, that use color to highlight various features, which are then fully discussed with reference to the visuals
