Editorial : About the Author
Laurent de Brunhoff has been illustrating the Babar books since 1946, continuing to bring to life the beloved elephant family created by his father, Jean de Brunhoff. He has produced more than 30 books. He lives in Key West, Florida.
There are also a handful of booklets containing either interviews with celebrities who wore Vivier's shoes or reproducing some colorful archival and modern sketches.
The book is very-well bound and printed on high quality paper. The instructions in the book are quite clear. I wish there had been a book like this before--it is long overdue! It is easy to follow and filled with sane, understadable information. I may not be a great writer, but if I wrote a book, I would hire someone to be meticulous about editing it. The book definitely got me going with the app and was worth it for the Chopper feature alone.
Allan Phillips. Still kids don't tend to write a lot these days, so I think the size of it is perfect. Suits my needs for now.. The identification material is probably a bit better in Morcombe's book, too.
A 21-page section at the back includes information on the breeding periods of hundreds of birds along with information on their nesting and eggs.
