Editorial : About the Author Stuart Alve Olson has studied tai chi, Taoist meditation, and Chinese language for more than 25 years. Considered one of the leading authorities on tai chi, he has taught classes and workshops throughout the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. For me, Polishing stands alongside the impressive spiritual and scholarly works of other contemporaries like Stephen Cope (The Great Work of Your Life), Thomas Kasulis (Shinto), Georg Feuerstein (The Yoga Tradition), David Whyte (Crossing the Unknown Sea) and the dog trainer Kevin Behan (Your Dog is Your Mirror)..
